Exciting Goings-On
Here's a really quick post regarding some exciting things that are going down in the world of entertainment. A lot of new things were revealed today from NIS, Nintendo, and Batman #28 really unleashed some crazy secrets earlier in the week.
First of all, NIS America is localizing Fairy Fencer F, which is essentially what I would consider the next Hyperdimension game. And right at the release of Danganronpa, they announced the localization of the second one. For those of you that don't know, Danganronpa is a completely crazy anime about students trapped in a crazy school and having to kill and debate to ultimately escape by "graduating." Hyperdimension Neptunia is a quirky RPG game that's only slightly fun, but very colorful and relaxing... well sometimes.
I'm really not keeping up with much Nintendo nowadays, but I am patiently waiting for Smash Bros for the 3DS. Today they announced that Little Mac from Punch-Out!! is part of that game, I believe, as an actual playable fighter. Otherwise, their Pokemon Bank app has been released on 3DS, so if you want to transfer all your old stuff to X and Y, and get a Celebi for free, you can now!
I'm not gonna spoil Batman #28, don't worry. It's absolutely crazy, though. It's a kind of look ahead into what'll be happening in Batman and Batman Eternal about one year from now. And let me just say, Gotham City has been changed, and it's insane.
On the Olympic front, we just won all three medals in men's slope style skiing. That's crazy. We've got three Golds in slope style already. I hope the women skiers also get the Gold because that would be just really cool if we had all of them for that particular sport. Lots of craziness in the first full week of Olympics. Next week looks promising as well, as more and more sports are starting up.
That's some quick news from me!
