Here's What I'm up to in Games
Every now and then, I'd just like to write about what I'm playing. See I've been on vacation for three weeks now, and I picked up the PS4 at launch, so I've been using this time to really get into Killzone: Shadow Fall. But that's not all I've been playing lately. There's a lot more.
Shadow Fall has been eating most of my gaming time lately, since I'm going for the Platinum, which demands just an absurd amount of time. I've also been playing Need for Speed Rivals, which is a little stressful, but still fun at the same time.
On the PS3 front, I've delved into Max Payne 3, which is a fun, arcadey-type shooter. One of the cool things about that is that you can play the game without the cutscenes. I haven't tried that mode yet, though, as I'm going through the story. I'd recommend this game, but it's really hard, and I actually just lowered the difficulty to easy because I'm just playing it for fun. No platinum, or anything.
Then, there's this, which needs no introduction. I don't play much, nor do I play competitively, but one of the goals I've set for myself this year, is to acquire 75% of all of the Pokemon. That's probably an unrealistic goal, but whatever. I'm more of a collector over doing battles. Just something cool, a member of GameFAQs was giving out starters yesterday, so I managed to get some cool stuff off of that.
Finally, I recently completed Bioshock Infinite. It was incredible. The gameplay was a little awkward, coming off of Killzone, but the story really pulls you in, and is well-acted and epic. If you're a member of PS+ and haven't played Bioshock Infinite, it's going to be free for subscribers this month.
And one other thing. Sonic 2 was recently upgraded for iOS, well worth the $3 you'd spend on it, and I really recommend it.
So that's just what I've been playing lately. Sometimes I'll do this, and sometimes I'll write about what I'm watching, reading, or doing in real life.
