The Following, More Shows, and Classes

Maybe one day there will be a "reality" post that doesn't have "entertainment" thrown in. But for today, to mark the release of The Following Season One on Blu-ray and DVD, and for the upcoming second season, here's a post on that as well.

Ryan Hardy is an FBI agent searching for Joe Carroll, a killer and writer who's gained a huge cult following of people who murder for him. The Following's a pretty messed up show sometimes, and the main role is played perfectly by Kevin Bacon.

The series has an overarching plot, but also has an element of procedural. It's got a "follower of the week" a lot of the time, so any point is a good point to jump on, provided you have some background information as to the overall issue at hand.

Season one ended with a huge cliffhanger, but commercials for season two, or that there's a season two at all have already dispelled any confusion about that. One mystery does remain, though, and that's the huge draw of season two.

The Following's new season premieres on a special night, January 19th, at 9:00 PM for a special preview of the new season. And I picked up season one today at Target.

As for other shows, Agents of SHIELD has resumed. I haven't watched today's episode yet, but it should be good when I get around to it. Almost Human had a new episode last night that featured a killer hiding behind a computer and live broadcasting his murders. Brooklyn Nine-Nine had a funny new episode today as well.

Enough with the mumbling, though. Suburgatory is coming back on January 15th. There's going to be a post on that because that show is a huge guilty pleasure.

Now it's time to go on a little about classes this week. I'm already sick of learning about plate tectonics because both my Marine Biology class and my Earthquakes class are going on and on with it. I know it's a huge part of at least one of those, but after today, I'm sick of plate tectonics.

Japanese is going pretty well, though. I've gotta review a bit for that, but all will be well. One day I need to take a long walk around campus and take some pictures for this blog of some interesting things.

Anyway, that's how things have been lately.
