Finals week is a tough one, but one that ultimately yields awesome rewards, like the new inFAMOUS game that comes out on Friday, a new mission for Snake, and of course, this week's comic books, including *All-New* Ghost Rider.

This Week's Comics

Every week with a new issue of Batman is a good week, and this week is going to be one of the best as the second chapter of Zero Year comes to a close with another oversized issue all drawn by Greg Capullo. Also there's JLA and Deadpool, reaching its 25th issue after only a year and three months.

Lightning Fast Update

Finals are approaching, and I've been hard at work and unfortunately not blogging, because that's a secondary thing. When spring break hits, the game coverage will hit even harder. That being said, I did play some Lightning this weekend. Among other things, which I'll cover in later posts.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Oh no. Ohhh no. This was definitely a welcome surprise. Rocksteady, who made the Arkham series what it is, is returning for one final chapter in the Batman saga, only on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here's a rundown of all the news so far.

March Preview

March is finally here. This month, I'll be dedicating most of my time to finals, but after that, is when the real fun starts. Two new PS4 games are releasing this month, and will mark the first time since 2013 where some new PS4 games worth buying come out! Read on for a look ahead.

The Lego Movie is Full of Awesome

You know what's awesome? According to the Lego Movie, everything. And you know what? It pretty much is. This movie is fine for anyone to see, and kind of takes you on a super hyped up ride through various worlds, starring various characters. It's just a lot of fun.

Gravity is Surprising

As usual, UCLA keeps on top of recent movies for their screenings. Last night, I finally got the chance to see Gravity. Not only was it a good movie, but I also appreciate the risks taken with Alfonso Cuaron making a movie like this. Thoughts inside.

So it occurred to me amidst studying around 2:00 AM this morning that I missed a day. It also got me to thinking that there's not enough news or updates for me to make a post every day. That being said, I will probably not blog some days. Either way, one new comic this week.

Can't Catch a Break

RoboCop is Full of Emotion

Lightning Returns Initial Thoughts

You could argue I've been waiting for a sequel to FFXIII-2 since February 2012... and I have. Lightning Returns is the ending to the FFXIII trilogy, and so far it's been pretty fun, but also very confusing and overwhelming! My initial thoughts for around 3 hours inside.

The Final Stretch

I feel like this past week has kind of been like an Olympic race, and that today is the final stretch of that race. You know, having to really just review materials and write and get better at things. There's a few personal things I need to touch on here.

Olympics are Underway

To say the very least, Sochi's opening ceremony was full of flash as those projections made for a pretty cool show. Technical difficulties aside, there was some Beijing-scale level stuff, and it was pretty fun. On to the games themselves, though.

Mobile Games are Addicting

First of all, this is just a terrible game that everyone, including me, have fallen into. It's addictive and infuriating, but like all mobile game trends, we'll fall into that abyss for a few months and then just fly off to something else. Let me discuss another mobile game as well.

The World of Gokaiger

First of all, yesterday was Mao Ichimichi's birthday, which pretty much ties into this post, as she was the yellow Sentai in this series. I've gotta say, one year later, watching Gokaiger was one of the most fun things I've ever decided to do. Let me briefly introduce you to this world.

You Should See Clone Wars

Don't be so quick to judge a CGI-animated Star Wars series. While the movie prequel was nothing to brag about, the show hit some masterful points throughout its five seasons, including a controversial return of Darth Maul. Let me try to explain why Clone Wars is so good.
